Kwout is an easy way to quote a part of a web page as an image with an image map. Now, this is a very interesting app, as the quoted image has all the hyperlinks active! To use this service, you need to add the ‘kwout bookmarklet’ to your favorite browser.
Kwout works in 3 steps. First we grab a screenshot, then cut out an area we want to kwout… issshh! quote and then Post it anywhere! Simple isn’t it?

To grab the screenshot, you have to first click the kwout bookmarklet on the web page you wish to quote, and the screenshot of the entire web page will be popped up. By dragging the mouse on the screenshot, select an area you wish to quote, and click the “Cut Out” button. Then the area you selected will be cut out as an image with an image map (along with hyperlinks!!!).
Finally, the embed code will be displayed, using which you can post the image (with the image map) to your web site or you can post it directly to Flickr or Tumblr!
