Posterous, an online service which allows you to post things online using your email. All you need to do is send an email with anything you want to post (text, images, mp3, video links) to post@posterous.com and your blog post is ready! You get an instant reply with your new posterous blog as http://yourname.posterous.com. Now, how easy is that?

Apart from the ease with which you can have your own website, there are some pretty innovative features of Posterous. These include instant photo gallery creation (when you attach more than one photo to your email), a web mp3 player to play your mp3s and a embedded video player if you have included a video link! Another interesting one is the Autopost feature : when you post to posterous, it will be will instantly autoposted to your Flickr stream, other Blogs (Blogger, Wordpress.com, Typepad, Movable Type, Livejournal) and Twitter messages.

splandoo Splandoo is another website which allows you to download streaming videos from major online media sites. Supported sites are YouTube, Google Videos, Yahoo! Videos, MSN Soapbox, MySPace, Daily Motion, Blip.tv, Veoh, AOL Uncut, iFilm, Break and many more. All you need to do is enter the URL of the video and it downloads to your computer as a .flv file.
